Comments(12) Lord help us! I was surfing on the Internet earlier this evening for pictures of Ouija boards when I came across this tattoo on a disgusting self mutilation website called BMEzine.
How dare they deface their body in this manner! Don’t they realize that our bodies were created to honor God and not for us to freely carve it up as if it were a worthless bag of meat?
I hope that this young person has a change of heart sooner rather than later, otherwise they are doomed for the lake of fire.
What the hell are they going to do to their bodies next? Cut off their arm, set fire to the severed limb and throw it through a church window?

I feel sorry for you. Do I think what this individual was doing was right? Personally no…but why were you there in the first place. This person has the right to do whatever the hell he wants and not sit in judgement before ANYONE, but Our Lord. If you don’t like, change the channel.

I don’t see how masturbating, drinking and doing drugs, tattoos and ouija boards have ANYTHING to do with eachother. I think making the skin a canvas for memories, beautiful pictures, or whatever, is actually a bigger thnx to ‘God’ then anything. I don’t believe in ‘God’ the way you do, though I am not an atheist. As for masturbating, how can this be a sin if ‘God’ has given us the bodyparts to enjoy. What monsters would we be if we wouldn’t love our bodies and get relief in an awesome way… I don’t say alcohol and drugs are a smart thing to do or a good choice in life, however, I don’t see how it is a sin… As for the Ouija board, it’s not a devil worshipping thing. The board opens up lingering energies and forces. Yes the forces or the energies can be negative or ‘evil’ BUT that doesn’t make the board or the people using it evil.
I love this tattoo and I like the Ouija board.

Do not judge others based on your ideals and your god. I believe in God; however, I also believe in what He taught me about loving my neighbor. But, this is coming from someone who is a 21 year old self-mutilator. I began self-injuring (cutting) when I was 15. I do this because it is the only way that I feel I can gain any relief from the feelings of hopelessness, loneliness, inadequacy, sadness, and anger. I want so much to stop; however, it’s not as simple as just deciding to never put a sharp object to my skin again. i am in therapy dealing with the things in my life which have led me to this act and which keep me turning to this act.
I find it relatively sad that you would judge upon another being as if your opinion mattered. It is because of ignorant, self-riteous people like yourself that cause conflict. Human nature in itself is a sin so therefore you have no right to judge upon another as if you are above them. I am not a christian, nor do I follow any religion. If I recall, it says in the bible something about not judging your peers or those around you, and you call yourself a christian? It is people like you that I laugh in the face of because you are so blinded by your own self ambition that you judge upon another as if you are God himself. It is people like you that influence others like myself to give into rage and do things like this to ourselves. If I knew where and who you were, I would probably come up to your doorstep look you in the eyes and demand you judge upon me. After doing so I would scorn you and more than likely pull out a knife and stab myself clean through the left femural artery to show that nobody gives two shits what your opinion is about others. To be quiet honest, I admire the person that did this to their body because you don’t have the balls to do it to yourself so you judge them claiming you are a christian making you nothing more than a sinner yourself. One day I’m sure you will run into the wrong person and judge them like you did this person and they will laugh and more than likely it would be ironic enough give you a tattoo of a pentagram with perhaps an upside-down cross on every limb of your body so to remove it you would have to desicrate your body. May one day you die and burn in hell along side me. I’ll be waiting for you.

God didn’t give His children a Porsche or a Ferrari; he gave us the grocery-getter. The body should be taken care of – yes – but does He expect it to last forever? No. Does He expect it to get a few dings in the fenders as we’re learning to drive? Does He expect us to joyride once in a while? Does he expect we’ll do stupid things once in a while, like put really cool Bugs Bunny bumper stickers all over it in the misguided thought that it would look “Totally freakin’ AWESOME!”? In a word, yes. God is not a dumbshit. He knows His kids better than you think. ‘How dare they!’?? Please. I’ve seen the way some holy rollers adorn their “temples” (think plaid polyester) and I gotta tell ya…it does NOTHING to glorify what was made in God’s own image.
